Here is the critique that you wanted.

The concept again here is very cool and with a lot of humor. I am also enjoying the range of values and color that you are using. Over all though it feels like this piece was done on the fly with no real planning. A well developed idea is much better then a bunch a nice ideas stuck together. I would suggest start doing a lot of rough thumbnails to plan out your composition and also to use references when ever you can. There are very few good artists that can create something right out of their head unless it has been a subject they have drawn over and over again that it is stuck in muscle memory.

Aside from that because of the video game format that you had did I think if you had the BG with high degree of separation that would would have that video game feel to it.

This one was a little rushed since it was a last minute deal for a contest and theres was alot of moving things around, so yes I do agree with that,I'm glad you like the value in colours cause I din't feel too confident about it in the end

I do roughs, but I have a problem commiting to one thing or a new idea emerges most of the time, but I do agree reference and planning is a necessity
